Tuareg tribe nickel beads & henna dish necklace IN0059

A striking necklace using large 22 mm diameter Tuareg tribe nickel metal beads with man-made amber (resin) beads and 92.5% Indian silver beads (the small ones) as separators. The central pendant is an Indian silver henna dish (old) and the whole necklace although not antique in the least looks fantastic and has an antique patina. Tuareg beads are often made from Nickel as it’s a lot less expencive than silver and it’s common in Nigier where the Tuareg live.

Note: this is not an antique necklace, all the beads exept the pendant are newly made.
