Millefiore & bottle bead necklace IN0060

Millefiore, Italian for thousand flowers is the name of the feature beads here.  They average 24 mm in length some are longer and the dominant colour is blue and gold.  Millefiore were produced for the West African trade in the 17th and 18th century.  Here they are combined with light blue bottle beads and 92.5% silver bi-cone beads.
