Eight pieces of antique Mauritanian amber (man made early in the 19th cent) are the feature of this colourful necklace. There is an antique king bead centre and old possibly antique silver prayer beads punctuating the design from end to end. The spotted red beads are white heart beads originally made in Venice circa 1890. There are only two new beads on the entire necklace and they are right at the ends by the clasp.
