Ethiopian Telsum Set of 3 IN0033

Set of three Ethiopian silver telsum.  These are old to antique telsums that I collected in Ethiopia in 1993 and are in exccellent condition.  All are old with a beautiful patina and are made from high quality silver.  Telsums are worn to protect the warer from the spirit of the crecent moon (semi-circular ) or the evil eye (triangular).  They are traditionaly strung in necklaces combining several different shapes and or meanings.  Telsums are wonderful shapes to work with  making extraordinary jewellery.  These are now collectors items as are many of the objects from the disapearing tribal world.
