A simple and beautiful necklace 45 cm in length, made from West African white trade beads with Indian antique silver Deity pendants. The pendants vary in size the largest being 23 mm long and 16 mm wide the smalest one is 16 mm long. The white beads are approx 4 mm dia. Designed by Eva Manning.

Nepal Shell necklace IN0008

Shell beads from Nepal, rounded in shape and some are inlaid with turquoise. These beads are hand carved and vary in shape and form.

The necklace is finished off with two old fluted silver beads and a silver clasp.

Orissa bead & silver necklace IN0013

Orissa (a region south of Calcutta) beads made in the 1950s and used to trade with tribal indians. These are old or antique poth beads made in Banaras or Varanasi India last century. They are wonderfully irregular and show an aged patina from years of wear. These beads make great jewellery. There are small sterling silver florete beads scattered through the length of the necklace.

Not white I know, but close, it’s grey silk with some silver beads threaded on. This is just one version of our silk ribbons. You can wear them as necklaces or bracelets by simply tying the ends together. In our shop we have 46 different colours and a huge selection of silver beads to thread on.
