We design and make all our sisal and baobab bags in Kenya. Buying direct from the weavers and then adding leather and finishing. It’s always exciting and the Kenyan people are so much fun. Sisal is a natural fibre and is used widely in Africa for weaving bags and baskets. These bags are all natural fibre, very tightly woven and of the highest quality. The colours are mixture of bright intense colours and terracotta earthy redy brown shades. NOTE, every bag is individual sizes vary and designs vary, they are all hand made by African women and each bag has its own character. Made from the bark of the Baobab tree in East Africa. These bags are all natural fibre (tree bark and leather) very tightly woven and of the highest quality. The colours are all natural dyes and are all terracotta earthy redy brown shades. NOTE, every bag is individual sizes vary and designs vary, they are all hand made by African women and each bag has its own character.
